Corona Virus conditions Center warns states about it, arrangements may prove inadequate ahead of Corona’s pace.
New Delhi: Die to the rapidly increasing cases of Coronavirus infection, the central and state governments are worried. The central government has warned the states that the current infrastructure to deal with the ever increasing infection may prove insufficient.
Identified places with high infection
The Center has advised the states to identify places with high infection rates or beds in need at the local level and adopt local prevention measures for 14 days. The Ministry of Health has said in a statement that contact tracing should be done at the primary level in local prevention measures. People should be prevented from gathering crowds at one place. The Central Government has asked the State Governments to work on Prevention, Clinical Management and Community Reconciliation.
Union Health Secretary wrote a letter
Citing new cases of infections coming up in large numbers in the last few days, the Center has said that states need to urgently consider strict Covid-19 management and prevention measures to control the situation. In this regard, the Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written a letter to the health secretaries of all the states.
Continuously increasing infection
Let us tell you, cases of corona infection is increasing continuously across the country. In the capital Delhi itself, 1055 people have died from Corona during the last 3 days. For the last 3 days, about 150 people have died every day due to corona in Delhi. During the last 24 hours, 350 people have died in Delhi from Corona. 357 people died of corona on Saturday and 348 on Friday. So far 14,248 persons have died of corona in Delhi.
Acute oxygen shortage
At the same time, the help of industrial oxygen is also being taken to supply oxygen to hospitals in Delhi. The central government has allocated 490 tonnes of oxygen quota for hospitals in Delhi. However, according to the Delhi government, the entire oxygen allocated is not reaching Delhi. According to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in the Corona epidemic, Delhi needs 700 tonnes of oxygen, compared to 330 to 335 tonnes of oxygen. The oxygen that is to come from place to place, that oxygen is not reaching inside Delhi.
